I just could not wait to write this review!! I am a huge Disney fan, and my family is getting ready for our next trip to Disneyworld in September of this year. We found on the Disney website information about the Chase Disney Rewards Visa Card, and had to sign up.
First off, there is a no interest period of 6 months that is great for signing up and charging your vacation on right away. The card, when I signed up off the Disney.com website, had an extra 15 dollar gift card after you first use it as an added bonus. The card comes in 6 different designs, I went with Nemo, my wife with Tinkerbell.
The other benefits include discounts at various retailers at Disney and savings from special exclusive offers for cardholders. We scored with free dining for our trip this year!! We also, when we go on the vacation will get a bonus photo op we are told...I can't wait to get there and enjoy all the awesome perks.
The only negative in my humble view is the reward system. THe rewards are given in Disney dollars, with an earning of 1 Disney dollar to every 100 dollars spent. The problem is, these dollars are only redeemable for Disney stuff, online or at stores they own. This limits your reward usage places, unless you frequent the stores or parks often.
Otherwise, this is by far the best card I have ever owned. Highly recommended!!

Oh how cool is this! Do they have a Tinkerbell card? LOL I would love to apply for this card to get all the perks, but unless I get to go to Disney often or buy things from the stores or their website...I think my points would go to waste. Awesome that you are getting so many perks. Congrats and I hope you have a wonderful trip! Remember to smile for that picture :)
Guess making the points only usable for Disney or their products makes you return to visit or shop more often. I think this is a great idea! Hope you have a wonderful time at Disney and get lots of free perks :)

We also just got our first Disney Visa card. I felt like a kid at Christmas when I saw it in the mailbox!!!

Great job on explaining the card and the perks. I would just save those Disney dollars for your next trip as they never expire. Do they actually send you the Disney dollars? If so, you could also use them to give as gifts so the recipient (kids) can go to the Disney store and shop til they drop. Have a wonderful vacation, we're planning on September too and so is Tink!
