I love my new Maytag!

Justa little over a year agomy oven decided to go out on me, It wasonly a few more days till Christmas and I had family coming for dinner Christmas day.
So we had some quick shopping to do, when my husband came home from work that night him and I went stove shopping.I had never owned a flat top stove but I have always liked them a lot.So on this tripI was looking to get a flat top electric stove.
We decided on the Maytag 30" electric flat top, it has a self cleaning adjustableoven, not an important feature for me ( I don't mind cleaning an oven manually), this feature was important for my husband, it can be set to light, medium, or very soiled.It has a really large oven bigger than my last one but yet they were both 30", the oven walls are thinner in this one therefore more cooking space, and very large viewing window on the oven door, which I thought was rather nice.The oven is all digital so much easier to get accurate temp.The features for the oven are delay baking, a favorite setting that can remember temp and cook time of your favorite dishes.
It has 5 burners on the stove top, 2 small, 1 medium and then one large that has 2 settings (large and extra large) by just flicking a switch, and lastly there is a warmer in the center back.And it has two light indicators, one to say the stove top is on, and the other to let you know that the stove top had been shut off but the top is still hot to the touch,I thought this was great because there are time when we put stuff on the top of the stove and don't realize it's still hot.
Large capacity lower draw to store items in.
This stove cleans in a flash without having to remove all this coil burner and drip tray.
Also energy efficient.

We have a flat top stove and I can't imagine going back to an old fashion one. Mine only has 4 burners though. I would love that 5th warming burner that you have.
This sounds like a great stove. I would consider it, but I have always cooked on gas.
I want a flat top stove!! Think it would so much easier to clean than constantly taking of those old grates across the top of mine!! Thanks for sharing and happy you were able to get a stove so fast so you could cook on Christmas day!!!
Wow, this sounds like a perfect stove! 5 burners? Amazing! I've always wanted a flat top range, and with a name like Maytag on it, I'm sure it will last a long time too!
The stove top sounds great with all those burners. You lucked out finding this without doing much research.
I have a gas stove top at home, and while I do not like having to clean it, I like the immediate cooling that comes with adjusting the flame down. I have used a flat top stove while on vacation, however, and do admit that it is very sleek looking!
This sounds like an awesome oven. I have always wondered about the flat top stoves. And easy to clean is what I like to hear! I will keep this in mind when looking, my oven is getting pretty old.
