I love the Nintendo Wii

I jumped on the whole Wii bandwagon about a year late, but the craze seems to still be going strong. I first expressed interest in potentially owning a Wii after seeing the family on the television show Little People Big World play bowling on their new system. It looked so fun and easy and from that moment on I had to have one. I asked for one for Christmas, but pretty much knew it was a long shot, due to it's extreme popularity, so I took matters into my own hands. Just days before Christmas I was made aware of a Wii pre-sale and I got my hands on one within days. I have not stopped playing ever since. I love the game selections and the ease of the system. It's the perfect game system for non-gamers. I have not been impressed with any game systems since the Super Nintendo or Sega Genesis, but I love my Wii. Sure, the graphics aren't top notch, but who cares? The interactivity the Wii provides especially with their controllers, is awesome. Plus, it can even be a good work out! I'm embarassed to admit I have pulled a muscle more than once (Ok, honestly, pretty much every time I play), but I look at that as a good thing, in a way. It's better for people (especially kids) to play something that gets them moving and at least burning a few more calories than if they were just sitting on the couch or at the computer. Love it! I also find the price to be rather reasonable, especially in comparison to competitor's current prices.
