I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change
By tinkerbelle22 onI Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change is a long-running Off-Broadway musical that is playing at the Westside Theatre in New York City. I thought that it was just an ok show.
It is basically a comedy revue, so there isn't really any storyline to follow. Each song is kind of its own little story, all relating to dating or married couples. I guess it can be a cute musical for a couple that's been married a long time. They can appreciate the things that the couples in the show discuss and fight about. None of the songs were particularly memorable to me, but the cast did a nice job of singing them.
Tickets for I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change are $75. It is a small theatre, so no matter where you sit, it's a good seat. I actually won my tickets in a contest, so I didn't have to pay to see it, and I don't think that I would have paid to see it either. It just wasn't the type of show that I normally enjoy, but it is quite popular, so I must be in the minority.
