I need my Vitamin C

I have just been down with a cough and colds and add some slight temperature to that too last week. It was nasty because it was almost the same time last year when I got hit by chronic coughing and incessant colds which lead to my getting a pneumonia.

I tried every precautionary means to maintain healthy lifestyle and good eating habits but I guess it is in my genes. I am rather sickly so I take it to heart to eat well and take the supplements and nutrients my body require.

My doctor prescribed me to buy this Vitamin C tablets which is effervescent. You disolve 1 tablet in a glass of either warm or slightly cold water and see it fizz to a tint of dark pink. It comes in lemon and red orange flavor and I am not sure if there are other flavors available other than those. A tube has 20 tablets in 1000mg each.

The taste is rather bland, it's like preparing orange juice with very little powder but it is okay for me. My colds and cough has diminished already although now I am having hyper-acidity because of taking this Vitamin daily.So I cut it down to just taking it three times in a week just to go easy on my stomach pains.
