I Only Buy 1 Pair Of Jeans By MalcolmReynolds on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

750 characters is a lot to write for a pair of pants! Basically, i've bought the same exact pair of pants for 5 years, even as i've grown, because these pants are the only ones i've ever found that do everything I want them to.

They're loose enough on the legs to be flexible and comfortable, but tight enough to not make me look like a hoodlum. They have a side pocket for my work knife (about 3" closed). These pants are form-fitting and durable, enough so that after a season of indoor drumline (probably the most rigorous lower-body sport in the world) the knees still held up. The button on these pants, compared to other brands, stays on regardless of how fat I become during the course of their lifetime, and the belt loops, unlike other jeans, stay attached even though they're constantly taxed. They fit well over my work boots, but still look OK in the spring with sandals, and best of all, they DO NOT SHOW stains. No stains, whatsoever, they look clean whether you've worn them for a day or a month (great for the college student in me).

36L you must be tall, sounds like you found a great brand of jeans to stick with, I wish it were that easy for me, thanks for the info.

I'm a consumerist buff, I like researching things weeks before I buy them. I've never made an "impulse buy" larger......
