I Saw the Lord: A Study with Anne Graham Lotz

A group of women at my church are currently using the study I Saw the Lord by Anne Graham Lotz.I am doing it to of course.Anne takes studying God's word and turns it in to a 5 step process.

Step 1: Read God's Word.(You take a passage of scripture and write it out)

Step 2: What Does God's Word Say? (Just write out the nouns and verbs)

Step 3: What Does God's Word Mean? (What do you think God's Word is saying)

Step 4: What Does God's Word Mean to me? (Form your answer as a question to yourself)

Step 5: How Will I Respond to God's Word (What are you planning to do with what you have learned)

This process is definitely unique, but extremely helpful.We have 4 days of homework each week and when we all return back to class a week later we have so much to share.I have never seen a Bible study that opened up so much conversation.Granted we are ladies and we like to gab, but this is different.

I highly recommend other churches use this study for one of their Bible Studies.There is also a DVD to go along with it.
