I Spit On Your Grave 1978 Millennium Edition By John Gugie on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Jennifer Hill, a female writer, rents a cabin in the country to write a novel. A few men start flirting with her but take it too far and rape her. She recovers and returns to kill them each gruesomely.

There's absolutely no story! It's just rape and revenge. Nothing else!

It felt like Deliverance but without the acting or underlying story.

Camille Keaton plays Jennifer Hill. She's the Grand-niece of Buster Keaton. She's the only person worth mentioning in this film. The other seem to have only played characters in this one film. No one stands out at all. Even Keaton shows little emotion or acting ability. The mentally disabled deliveryman is really annoying and deserved to die first!

The dialogue is very bad. Characters have no substance.

Straightforward camera shots, nothing great. But all shots are very bright, not many shadows. It's mostly daytime shots.

Lots of blood is about the only FX. The sound quality leaves much to be desired. No music stands out as memorable, just terrible.

An exploitation film to the max. Absolutely no plot. If you like gratuitous violence and gore, this is for you. I won't need to watch this again. Warning: this movie isn't for kids and might be offensive to some.
