Reviewing: Cd Projects Portable Steel Cd Case

Actually, a snake really didn't eat my cds, but this faux snake skin cover on this case sure makes it look like one has. I've had this cd case for a number of years now and it still looks like it did when it was brand new. It's one of the many styles/types of cases made by cdProjects. This particular case is a hinged flip type. It's steel, coated in a faux texturized tri-tone gray and white snake skin looking shell. The inner case is lined in a light gray, soft felt like velvet material. The inner plastic sleeves can hold 22 cds, however I've added 1 more, and if fits quite comfortably. Beyond that no, that is the limit you can fit and still be able to close the case. Each sleeve holds 2 cds and are also replaceable should one be damaged. I don't anticipate that happening though, because they are pretty durable sleeves and I have yet to replace one. Also, the case being rugged steel ensures that your discs inside won't be damaged, by dropping it or by impact. I can't guarantee that, if you take it and leave it on your car seat in the sun, after all it is metal. But, if you just want a well made portable case for your desktop, this is a great one!
