I Want Some Body! By Sparkle333 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
I learned a long time ago the importance of buying salon quality shampoo. Many shampoos are little more than harsh detergents that dry out the hair and scalp. I like to change shampoos from time to time, so when I dropped my mom off at the hair salon one day, I noticed that they had Matrix Biolage products on sale. You could buy one, and get one free. Who could resist that? Not me.
I purchased two 16.9 oz. bottles of the Matrix Biolage Bodifying Shampoo. I have very fine, thin hair, and I'm always looking for something to give it some bounce.
The fragrance is wonderful, and Biolage Shampoo has protein, eucalyptus, and ginger as part of the formulation. It is advertised to add "vitality, body, and shine." But I was a little disappointed, because I had heard great things about Biolage, so I had pretty high expectations.
If I lathered twice, I was able to get a little extra body, but if I shampooed once, and then conditioned, it made my hair too soft and limp. Everyone's hair responds differently to various shampoos, so even though it didn't work for me, perhaps you will have a different experience.
(I'll just have to "grin and bear it" because as I said earlier, I bought two large bottles!) But I don't really dislike it--it just doesn't add the volume that I had hoped for.

Pass me the Biolage! I love this shampoo. It's my favorite shampoo and I rarely use anything else. I think everyone just has to find a shampoo that works best for your type hair. My hair is fine, but I like the way it makes my hair soft, shiny and smelling great!
Aww sorry to hear it didnot work well with your hair. What about passing to me ha,ha.Anyways I like that and have no double thought about buying it.
