Ibanez Js 100 Guitar By k0b3x on - Updated Sep 18, 2011
I bought this model of guitar as my second guitar after using a very cheap Fender Strat as my beginning guitar. I saw the JS-100 in store and it stood out immediately. It is a very beautifully crafted guitar and comes in either black or a very nice dark red color. After catching my eye, I began to play it and the first thing that stands out is the outstand feel of the guitar. The neck of the guitar is extremely thin and pressing the strings was as effortless as I have ever felt. The guitar feels extremely relaxed in your hands/lap and again it feels very effortless to play. This guitar features a floating bridge which may be a problem to beginners when restringing, but I think once it is strung, it stays in tune longer and provides a very neat tremelo bar. The negative of this guitar is the terrible pickups. The sound quality of the guitar without any effects are below average in my opinion. Other than that, the feel and appearance as way above average and I would recommend buying this guitar if you are into distortion and effect playing.

I brought an Ibanez many years ago!!! I still have it waiting to pass it down to my son.
Wow, didn't realize guitars were so expensive but this sounds like a good investment. Thanks
I don't know anything about guitars but it makes sense that if it feels good in your hands, it's a good choice for you.
Good information. There are just SO many choices out there it's helpful to know which features are best on different ones.
My 15 year old just got the black Ibanez. He did research on the internet and learned that this is THE brand to get for the heavy metal sound which he is currently into. So far, he is not disappointed.
I would love to have a guitar like that.
This guitar sounds like a quality instrument. When spending so much on an item, especially one that might get a lot of use it is important that it has what you need.
I think I would pick the dark red color, sounds awesome. Your description of this guitar made me feel like I needed to have one and I've never picked up a guitar in my life. Fantastic job!!
I wish the sound quality of this guitar was better for you but it still sounds like it's a fun guitar to play!
To me that is expensive but I'm not sure how it compares to other guitars lol. My husband plays guitar and he would probably love this one. =-)
