ICE! Exhibit at Gaylord Palms in Orlando FL
By WarPainted onExpensive, but worth it! $25 per person (not including tax) gets you into the exhibit and a free cup of hot chocolate.I was a little miffed at the pricing but the experience was amazing! They keep the exhibit at 9 degrees so dress warm even though they give you a full length hooded winter parka. We were fortunate to bring hats and gloves and were really thankful!
Imagine an indoor ice sculpture park- but as decadent and over -the-top as a Las Vegas show! The exhibit stretches through several rooms, all themed and larger than life. Nature scenes, Santa's Hall, Candyland..all just amazing.
Some advisory notes: DO bring hats, gloves, scarves, etc. DON'T be in a rush, they run you through three or four lines, a forced group photo, and two "pre-show" videos supposedly explaining the event, but really just slowing down the traffic flow. DO bring a plastic zip-lock style baggie for your camera. You will want to seal it up tight so it can get to room temperature gradually when you leave, otherwise it gets all steamed up and is utterly useless until the internal fogeventually clears.DON'Tskip the slide at the end- it is sooo much fun!

Wow, this sounds amazing! Thanks for the info
Love your photos. This looked like a lot of fun.
These are great pictures and so tempting for a visit.
So many of our friends have gone to ICE. And after living in Orlando for over 6 years, we actually never went. I am hoping we go this year, even though it's now a 2 1/2 hour drive.
