Ice Spray Detailer By Malcolm on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Everyone loves that bright, shiny, new car look. But, no one likes the work that goes in to waxing a car. I recently noticed a spray wax that claimed to leave a car looking like ice. I knew I had to try it. The Ice Spray Detailer is a very easy product to use. All you need is the spray and two microfiber cloths. After a car is washed and dried, you spray the wax on the car, wipe with one microfiber cloth and again with a dry cloth.

I tested this product on two different car colors to better judge whether or not the shine was truly like ice. The silver finish gave off the best shine. After one application, I was impressed to see the bottle did not lie. The car did shine like ice. I also tried the product on a white car finish and was not equally impressed.

I was also curious about protection and was unhappy to learn the product less than protects against water. The usual beading that occurs after you wax your car just does not happen.

All in all, if I were looking to buy just a "detailer" as the bottle claims, I found a great product. But, if I was looking to give my car the protection of a wax, I guess I am going to have to work my arm muscles with some traditional wax.
