I purchased this microphone for my ham radios so I would have a nice desk microphone for my ham radio station. I have not been disappointed. It has adjustments on it to adjust the audio and you can even change your frequency of the radio from the microphone. I have been told that the tone quality of the microphone when I am on the air talking to other ham radio operators is also very good. The icom company once again has made another really awesome product. This one has been in production for sometime now and you can even find quality ones second hand. Their resale value every time I see one on the used market is pretty high so they retain their value. I did read a few reviews before I purchased mine quite a while ago and it's hard to find a bad review on one. To sum it all up an extremely high quality microphone overall and well worth the money.
