If It Were You, Would You Be The Good Guy? By Teressa on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

One of my favorite writers is Dean Koontz and I was just recently given a copy of his book "The Good Guy" as a present. This is well worth the read, and is filled with suspense and will keep you guessing and keep your interest peeked the from cover to cover. The story starts off in a bar, Timothy Carrier is carrying on his usual routine, hanging out after work having a beer. Only this time it's different. A very nervous acting man walks in and takes a seat beside him at the bar, thinking Tim was the man he was suppose to be meeting. He slips a evenvelope over to Tim and say's, "Ten thousand now, and you get the rest when she's gone." he then leave a photo of a beautiful woman, and quickly leaves.

Which leaves many big questions. What to do? Take the money and just leave? Report the man to the police? Try to save the woman on your own? Also leading to the ultimate question, would you be "The Good Guy" if you were in Tim's situation?

Over all it's a page turner that will keep wanting to read more and I recommend it to anyone who enjoys great suspense stories.
