Dr. Grabow Pipes

Good Ole "Grabow", th' "Doc",... the poor man's "Mersham", a bowl for the everyday Joe.

I've been buying and retirering (sp?) these pipes for almost 8yrs. now.

Prices vary, store to store, state to state.

Once at a K-mart closeout I bought the last of their stock at $2 per. Typically the retail is between "high-teen" and $25.

I am a ridiculously heavy smoker (just no excuse!), I tend to rotate my collection once a month, in a straight out smoke, a Grabow will usually last 6mo.s+. It's the plastic stems that give way first. It's all the teeth clenching! The bowls are burled really well, they come pre-seasoned (a real plus!); charring a bowl is an un-looked forward to preparation with a new pipe.

For all those out there already smoking a pipe, you're probably quite familiar, for all those that know someone...; Dr. Grabow is a perfectly acceptable ‘stocking-stuffer", you can never have to many "extras"!

For smokers considering a change to a pipe, I highly recommend it. It's cheaper, smells better, its only almost just as bad for your health, pipe tobacco is "all-natural", no man-made carcinogens (in the U.S. anyway) like cigs, you can use with/without a filter, and has been known to start a conversation or two, besides...nobody ever bums your pipe!

They're really novel items! Enjoy.
