If You Are A Serious Amateur, You Won't Buy This By keef on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
Newest addition to its family of DX-format digital SLRs, the d5000 includes Nikon's D-Movie function, second time ever afterthe Nikon D90.
D-Movie gives users the flexibility to shoot Motion JPEG movie clips in different formats at a smooth 24 frames per second.
BUT
since it's all crammed up in what is literally an old d40 body, lacking a good wiewfinder or simply the command system of a 2001 D100, this mss of plastic isn't what you'd define a good CAMERA. it's a nice and pretty combo if you want to show off at parties, but imho you'd had better quality chances buying one of those new hd videorecorder from Sony, plus buyinga three-hand nikon F2m.
it's nor meat nor fish.
