Igloo Picnic Basket Cooler By BillyG on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I purchased the Igloo Picnic Basket cooler during a recent trip out of town. My main reason for picking this cooler instead of any other was it's size and capacity. It is slightly larger than the average picnic basket, but holds a whopping 38 cans of your favorite beverage! Ice kept in the cooler to keep your drinks cold lasts almost all day, even when kept inside a car during the hot summer months. And since it is relatively small, there are no drain holes to leak; instead, you just turn the cooler on it's side to drain the water.

The flip up handle (like a briefcase or suitcase) runs the length of the cooler, so it's easy to carry, although it is quite heavy when full. I attribute this to perhaps more dense insulation, since it keeps ice for so long, to be so small.

There are 4 cup- or can-holders embossed into the coolers' lid to help prevent spilling of your beverage.

The lid of the cooler is white, while the body of the cooler isself is red.

I highly recommend this cooler, especially if space is at a premium. The measurements of the cooler are 19" wide, 13" front-to-back and 12" high.

Sounds like a wonderful cooler. I too will keep it in mind.
