iHome Clock Radio for Apple Ipod

I bought an iPod and I had the attachment where you could listen to the iPod in your car, but I wanted to be able to listen to my Ipod at home without having to wear the headphones. I went to Best Buy and saw the iHome Clock Radio for the Apple iPod. It can also be used with most MP3 Players. The employee said he had it and he loved it. I purchased it and have been loved it ever since. I've had it for about it two years. The sound quality is pretty good, I was looking for anything exceptional though. The alarm works well too. You can even wake up to certain songs on your iPod. I have actually dropped the radio twice before and it is still working great. That definitely tests its durability. It can use both batteries and a chord to plug it in. I do not the use the batteries often, I usually plug it in. I definitely reccommend this for anyone with an iPod.
Update On May 14, 2008: I forgot to put in this review, that this also charges youriPod while your iPod is docked on it, which is definitely very helpful.
These are so slick looking!! I suppose I need to get into the 21st century first & get an Ipod before getting this!!!
Sounds like a great product if you have an IPod. I haven't purchased one since I don't really need one. The younger generation seems to be hooked on them.
I do not have an IPod either but it is enticing ;)
Love the drop test :) I think this would be a great way to wake up in the morning. I love all the songs on my ipod and being able to choose the one to gently wake me up would be wonderful. I think I might just keep sleeping if it was a soft song though! I am happy to know that we have so many choices for our ipods so that everyone else can listen to our music without ear phones!
Wow this is great! I didn't know such an attachment exist for iPod. I have yet ot buy an iPod but I will surely have this in mind once I buy an iPod. I especially like the alarm clock feature. I need alarm clocks to wake me up and I like the fact that this product is durable too.

Still working great after being dropped twice, that's pretty good. :)
We have been pretty pleased with our iHome Clock Radio too. It's been banged around quite a bit, but is still working great after well over a year.
i would like one of these for my ipod..i have a nano, i hope it works for it
