Ikea Cutlery By Jables on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

In this reviewers opinion, IKEA has very fashionable products are ridiculously low prices. When I recently moved houses, I took a trip to IKEA to buy some needed items. One of which was a cutlery set. The resulting experience can only be defined as "traumatizing".

At first I was pleasently surprised to find not only large versions of the forks, spoons, and table knives I bought in the kit, but also smaller, children's versions too! All for the low price of 5.99. They certainly looked good, and felt good. I tested the malleability of a fork and found it quite durable.

Fast forward ONE WEEK and I'm chewing on fork prongs! No, I was not eating corrosive materials - the cutlery just self-destructed. 4 Months later only 3 pieces of the original 20 haven't snaped in half.

Won't buy again!
