We got this hat rack to match our shoe rack, and I've really enjoyed the extra storage that it provides. The picture above shows it loaded down with summer items, but it handles all our winter coats without any problem.

The design is really attractive. What made me decide on this one were the old fashioned hooks. And there's a lot of them! There's six double sided, then 8 single ones along the back. Four cubby holes at the top can hold decorative baskets, or anything you want to store there.

It also was very easy to assemble. All Ikea products come flat packed, and you put them together yourself. You do have to use care in attaching it to the wall. Try to find studs, as when the shelf is hanging with coats and other things you it, you don't want it to come crashing down. We used a studfinder and have had no problems with the hat rack even moving.

Overall, this hat rack is very useful and has received many compliments. It's been an excellent purchase for us.
