We were in need of a healing product and Ilex was suggested. It comes in a two oz. tube or a jar. We purchased the tube for easy carrying. It was for a baby that had surgery on his bottom. A rebuilt anus and a liquid diet was cause for some nasty soreness. Anything that could be used for digestive or urinary acids we were looking for. Open areas that sting with other medications, just made the baby more uncomfortable. Ilex protects the skin from wetness, and sever damage breakdown. It has no alcohol or latex, and by putting a layer on the sore area and then a layer of vaseline, usually within three days you see healing results. Easily washed off with soap and water.
