I got tickled when I went to the Ivory homepage, and its slogan was, "Ivory--The name you can trust for good, clean family fun." Ivory's certainly been around for as long as I can remember. According to their web site it is 125 years old. Now that's really something!
The thing I love most about Ivory Soap is its gentleness. When I was little, I remember it being advertised as so pure that it floats. Try it--it really does float!
Ivory is gentle enough for a baby's skin, and years ago, one of their slogans (that was in so many TV ads) was that Ivory was 99 and 44/100% pure. (Wonder what's in those other missing percentage points????) Ivory doesn't have a heavy scent, and it isn't oily. It's just a good, practical cleanser without a lot of additives.
Classic Ivory Soap is available in a 3.1 ounce bar, and a bath sized bar of 4.5 ounces.
Ivory soap is one of the simple pleasures of life, that takes you back to a time when things were not so complicated. It has a clean, fresh smell that just makes you feel good. Even though I sometimes try other bar soaps, I always end up coming back to Ivory.
