They say that accessories make an outfit, and the jewelry that you wear in your hair can really take an outfit from a casual look, to a dressy look. One of my favorite pieces of hair jewelry is a rhinestone head band that I purchased (of all places) at Walgreens. I was so pleasantly surprised to walk in the drug store one night, and notice some really elegant looking head bands near the cosmetic counter. One of the ones I chose is a double strand silver and rhinestone band that looks really nice with longer hair. (It almost looks like a tiara.) I usually keep my hair about shoulder length or a little below, so I enjoy wearing hair ornaments.

The night I wore this one, for my anniversary, I had to run in a 7-11 on the way home for some milk. The cashier said, "Wow, I love your hair. You look like Cinderella!" Then I grinned and said, " Thank you. Now if I just had a handsome prince...Wait a minute, I do. He's out in the van!" We had a good laugh over it.

I do feel really dressed up, when I wear this rhinestone head band, and it makes a great extra touch for holiday events as well. They cost so much more everywhere else that I've seen them, but this was a steal at Walgreens.
