Reviewing: Franklin Covey Deluxe Starter Kit
Purchased at: Franklin Covey     Price: $55.97 USD

I was trying so hard to get organized, I tried PDA's, I tried classic Day timers, I though I tried everything.that is until one day my husband brought me the gift of a lifetime, the Franklin Covey Starter Kit.

The starter kit has everything you need and then some.It comes with a binder, a year worth of daily sheets, A binder for your used sheets, Expense sheets, Daily Goal sheets, Address book, etc.

I like that fact that every day has a full sheet.I might not be working right now, but let me tell you a toddler has a lot of social activities that mommy needs to take her to.I love being able to flip through the pages and see what we have scheduled.

The downfall is that I don't keep up with it as often as I should. It pretty easy to forget to write something down.It is also a little bulkier then I would like.I have the classic which is too big to carry around in your purse. If this is your goal I would recommend a smaller size.

Update On Apr 24, 2008: I know it is a Franklin Planner, don't know why I messed up the title. So very sorry. One other item that I forgot to mention is that the starter kit includes a small pad that you can carry in your purse for jotting down quick notes.this is great when you don't want to carry the whole planner with you.

Yea, I have the problem of forgetting to write things down. If only they will come up with a product that could read our minds then we would be set. LOL

I liked your addendum about the additional note pad....I would jot my notes on that too & transfer to the big planner!

My husband also has a Franklin Covey planner and it amazes me at all the ads on you can get for it. He gets a catalog in the mail every few months that shows all kinds of stuff you can use to improve it and keep it updated.

Isn't it amazing how many things that can be on a kid's schedule? It's busier than mine!
