iMac G5 - iMac G5 review
By Vassili Shields onI love everything Apple. I've pretty much lived my entire life surrounded by them. I love my MacBook, but when I want to work on a significant project (I am a videographer) I turn to my beautiful iMac G5 with its giant screen and hefty hardrive.
I've always had the newest iMacs and this one is very incredible. I like how their products are so compact, where the screen and the computer are the same piece. It certainly makes it a better fit in my small office. I also like that its a widescreen computer, because I am a filmaker and alot of what I shoot needs to look good in widescreen.
The apple iMac G5 comes with iMovie and iDVD which are great programs I use on an almost daily basis. Regardless of your experience with video software, these programs are easy to use and very effective. Some of the most important projects I edit for high profile clients are made using these simple programs!
The iMac G5 has a great big hardrive which is why it is so useful for me. i sometimes need to import hours of footage, which can be ten's of GigaBytes...and my computer does it easily! I love my iMac G5 and I certainly recommend it!
I've heard great things about Mac's, but I'm so used to my PC that I don't think I could ever switch over.
This desktop sounds great. I might have to check into an Apple when it is time for me to get a new computer. Thanks for the great information.
I will be considering going over the Mac side within the next couple of years or when money allows. I have heard they are so much better the PC. Thanks for sharing this information.
Ohhhh, you are soooo lucky! My next laptop will be a Mac... and my son has already made the switch over to an iMac... The commercials say it all...
I've never used any other computer but a Mac, and I'm so jealous of your iMac! I had one of the Blueberry ones that came out in 1999, but the newer ones are so streamlined and small, but so fast! I have a 4-year-old PowerBook that will need to be replaced soon, and I can't wait to see what Apple has in store for us this fall!
I also have a MacBook and a iMac, both are the newest models. I love them and recommend them to anybody.
