The first experience you will have with the Image treadmill will not be a good one. Straight out of the box you will have to assemble the treadmill. The assembly can take up to 5 hours depending on your level of assembly expertise.
After you have tackled the assembly, the treadmill is truly easy to use. Hope on and start walking/running. The strong motor easily adjusts from a snails pace of 1 MPH to a fast sprint at 10 MPH. With inclines up to 10%, you will get a workout fit for a fitness guru.
The pre-programmed calorie burning sets leave much to be desired. For the average person, they are great and accurate. For the beginner or overweight user, the programs reach speeds of more than 4.5 MPH. I could not keep up with even the minimal program at 300 cal.
The Image 15.5 S Treadmill is worth every penny. I love this product!

Thank you for all of the great tips on this treadmill. It is nice to know that the factory pre-set workouts are based on a tall thin man so that calories burned may be more than listed and that the speed can be off due to stride.
I would never have the patience to spend up to 5 hours assembling it but once it's in action it looks a good one.
Wow ..5 hours to assemble a machine, I doubt I have the patience to do it, anyway it is still a very good machine that is great for workout.
This sounds like a very nice treadmill. Sorry it took so long to assemble.
I never really thought too much about the caories on ours being off due to differences in weight, etc. I wish they had a way to input all that to help make them more accurate.
