Impressions from Isotoner Women's Velour Boot

My mother-in-law gave me a pair of these for the holidays, and while they look a little mature for my age, they feel very comfortable. A traditional bootie, they come up a bit past the ankle with a faux fur cuff, velour outside and in, with a soft pad inside and a rubber sole with surprising traction, meant for indoor or outdoor use.

The velour is not overly plush, most likely because they are machine washable. The inside pad is not very thick. I do not feel it would hold up well for long if you were on your feet constantly. These are definitely lounge-about footwear, but great for a cold kitchen or bathroom floor in the morning, or hopping outside to put some mail in the slot.

My only complaint is that the Medium size, for 6.5 to 7.5 in women's sizing, is pretty big on my 7/7.5 feet. I couldn't imagine wearing these comfortably if my feet were smaller.

I'm not thrilled with the styling, so I probably wouldn't buy them for myself, but for an older woman, they'd made an excellent gift.
