Im Too : Dvd To I Pod By Rebecca Mastey on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

When I got an iPod for Christmas, I wanted a way to put my DVDs on it. Between train rides, car rides, or just being plain bored at work, it seemed like a good idea. Unfortunately, iPods don't come with DVD converters.

I found ImTOO and decided to spend the cash on their converter. I'm quite glad I did. In about 1.5 hours, I have a perfectly converted DVD sitting on my computer just waiting to be moved onto my iPod. I bought the MP4 suite, rather than the iPod suite, because it allows greater flexibility with the size of the image. A HUGE benefit was being able to put three or four movies, in full TV screen size, on my iPod, then just plug it in at a friend's house for movie night. No DVDs to mess around with.

Another great use I've found for it is keeping my kids occupied. I can move their Disney movies right on there, so long car rides become hassle free. The screen may be small, but it makes them feel 'grown up' to get to watch the iPod.

This program was invaluable after surgery. I could lay in bed, with my headphones on, and watch movies without bothering anyone else.

I give this program five huge stars, and think it's well worth the $45.
