This movie is an outstanding film. It has an excellent cast. Samuel L. Jackson gives another amazing performance .This movie won the 2004 award for Diamond Cinema For Peace Award from the Berlin Film Festival. It is about human rights and the fight for human rights. It was about a commission that investigates human rights and hearings pertaining to those cases. This pertains to a South African Government from 1996 who formed the Truth and Reconciliation Commission. It is an excellent, educational film. It is an important film to see. Victims confronted their abusers, and murder and torture were brought out into the open. It was a masterpiece of film production. I did feel that learning about how life was for these people and how things really were in this country, was extremly imporatant. When the guilty admitted their guilt , they were granted Amnesty under the leader, Ubuntu. It is provacative and heart wrenching. It is a movie that you cannot stop watching.
