Ina Garten's Barefoot Contessa Cookbook
By vmur08 onAfter watching numerous episodes of Ina Garten's show, The Barefoot Contessa, on the Food Network, I recently decided to purchase one of her cookbooks.Although she has several to choose from (six in total), I decided on her original cookbook, which was published in 1999.In the short time that I have had this book, it has fast become one of my favorites. The recipes are easy to follow, and most importantly the food is delicious. Some of the recipes that I have tried so far include pan fried onion dip and French potato salad.I can't wait to try the turkey meatloaf for dinner this week.In addition to the excellent recipes, Ina also provides the reader with useful cooking/food preparation tips, numerous pictures, and anecdotal stories from her cooking experiences.Overall, I believe that this book would make a great addition to anyone's personal cooking library.
