Indiana Jones the Lost Tomb LEGOS
By sndfan2 onThis is a fantastic medium sized Lego set for the Lego fan in your family. The Indiana Jones and the Lost Tomb set #7621 is still a little hard to find in the stores, so I purchased ours through Lego.com.
It contains 277 pieces, which is a great size...enough blocks to keep you busy for an hour or so to put it together, but not one of the HUGE sets that drive you crazy with a 1000 pieces to try to assemble.
This set contains a mini-Indy figure, including a hat, whip and bag that are so cool. (I would say "cute" but that drives my son crazy!) It also comes with a mini-Marion figure.
This set is actually pretty sturdy if you make sure you press the pieces together well. It's fun to play with this set alone, but we look forward to getting more sets in the Indiana Jones series so that we can play with them together.
I truly feel that all the Lego toys are a worthwhile investment. They may be a bit on the pricey side, but the problem solving skills they develop are priceless.

I think Legos are great. I always wanted them when I was a kid, but my parents said they were for boys (seemed like everything I wanted was for boys... no hocky sticks, no toy trucks, no tools... sigh. I was so deprived! LOL!) Have you been to the LegoLand in Mall of American in Minneapolis? I know, it's a long trip, but it's worth it! When it opened they were getting charter flights from JAPAN to the Mall of America! LOL! The LegoLand place is just filled with kids, all the time, all of them having the time of their lives. And probably begging mom and dad to buy MORE LEGOS!

I miss the days my son loved to play with Lego. As a teen, it's all about the computer these days.
Our Target carries some of these, as well as an Indiana Jones Mr. Potato head! The theme seems like it'd be fun, I have a few years to wait for my son to be old enough for them though.
You can't go wrong with older kids and legos, I am 34 and would like this myself.
My son has the whole Lego series Indiana Jones set! We love this set also. Legos are great, long lasting toys for kids and they last for a long time
