The Works claims to remove rust, lime scale and hard water stains, besides killing household bacteria. This is not a thick toilet cleaner, but a liquid. As such, it doesn't adhere very well to the toilet bowl surfaces I want cleaned. When I squirt this liquid into the toilet bowl it all flows down to the bottom, leaving only a slight coat of cleaner on the sides of the bowl. After less than 30 seconds even that has run to the bottom of the bowl. I scrub with a regular toilet brush and it seems to clean surface debris off ok. But even if I scrub as hard as I can, the lime deposits are not removed. This cleaner doesn't have an overpowering scent, which can be a good thing. But that said, it does nothing to make your bathroom smell nice either. I won't be buying this again.
