Inexpensive but Great Smoke Detectors

When we bought our house there was only one smoke detector in the whole entire house! We ended up having to purchase smoke detectors for all rooms/bathrooms/hallways/etc. in the house. Since we were having to purchase about 8 smoke alarms we really did not want to spend an arm and a leg, but wanted a smoke detector that was going to work when and if needed.
The worker we spoke with said the brand Kidde had been around for years and that they have to meet all the standards set for smoke alarms.
They are super simple to install and easy to test. There is a test button that verifies that the battery is still working and the alarm is operable. I am sure at one time or another you have burnt something and set the alarm off and then had to wait until the smoke cleared out. Well there is a Hush button for times like that.
The noise is loud...loud enough to hear if needed. I highly recommend these smoke alarms.
I always look for great deals on smoke detectors! Dn't sacrifice safety ever!
Wow, only ONE smoke detector? Glad you got more. We had the opposite "problem" we have 5 in our less than 2000 sq ft house :0)
Kidde products have a good reputation. They have a manufacturing facility in my hometown, so I have to give them extra pts for keeping business in the USA.
This is a fantastic price for smoke detectors & Kidde is one of the best out there!
