Inexpensive Diapers, alternative to Huggies Pampers

Reviewing: Kirkland Diapers
Purchased at: Costco     Price: $44.95 CAD

I was introduced to Kirkland Brand Diapers when my daughter was a newborn. Initially I used pampers, but soon switched to the Kirkland brand. I have heard that they are actually manufactured by huggies, they are just the older style. Makes sense to me, they certainly look like huggies. I find they are a little more stiff than Huggies, but less stiff than Pampers. The Velcro fasteners are similar to Huggies, much wider than Pampers. Overall I was very impressed with these diapers and used them for both my children.

PROS:
inexpensive
large package lasts a long time, I hated constantly buying diapers
wide velco tabs
stretchy waist
Overall good fit on both my kids
You can return them if you find they are not a good fit for your child

CONS:
No newborn size available. The smallest size is 1-2, which is slightly larger than a Pampers or Huggies size 1. You'll need a name brand initially for smaller babies.

VERDICT: Great generic diaper. It works just as well as the name brands at a fraction of the cost. I have tried many other store brand diapers in an attempt to save money. I found the quality of most to be subpar, resulting in leaks, especially with messy bowel movements. The Kirkland Brand did not disappoint though, they contained all but the messiest, most explosive movements (and I don't think any diaper could contain those!)

I agree generic diapers especially these ones are just as good as name brand, and save you money too.
