Inexpensive Wireles Keyboard By Saurabh Gupta on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Microsoft's Optical Desktop 1000 is an inexpensive solutions for those who don't like wires all around their computer table. The build quality is good with key features such as Wireless Freedom, Protection from water with its Spill Resisitant Technology, Additional F-Keys which can be activated with the F-Lock, E-mail and Internet Hot Keys as this is a multimedia keyboard, Extremely good receiver rangeWe have taken a good look on the positive side of it. Now lets see the negative side tooHere are it's negative side: No Num Lock and Caps Lock LEDs so you can't know whether they are on or off unless your type on the monitor, No button to switch of your Mouse and Keyboard and save your battery life. In fact, you need two batteries for your Mouse every two months, however keyboard has a long battery life, Sometimes the receiver seems to not work, for which you have to shut down the PC and restart the computer. Overall, I love this keyboard, especially it's ultra soft keys with which I enjoy typing, but I also hates it when I have to spend money on batteries every two months as there is no way with which you can switch of the mouse.
