Why my daughter loves this toy so much, I will never know! :) But she does.. it's one of those little cheap toys that major retailers sell attached to a cardboard backing. She adores it and gets so excited when she sees it. The pinwheel portion clicks as it turns. At 5 months she was able to turn it herself. The handle of it is clear and filled with beads. On the base, there is a soft oval with 2 round circles that she can easily hold and suck on. The only dislike I have is that the padded parts of the pinwheel constantly end up in her mouth where she sucks on them. And this toy says that it cannot be washed, which means that all that slobber just stays in there. But for the price, I can easily replace this with a nice clean one when the original gets too funky.
