Infinity 12 Reference Subwoofers By whitedice11 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
I recently added a little extra 'boom' to the trunk of my car, via the addition of two 12" Infinity Reference subwoofers. I was on a tight budget, so I shopped around looking for the best boom for my buck. After looking through pages and pages of products, I settled on these Infinity Reference subwoofers. They are 1200w max, and 300w RMS each. Those are decent numbers in subwoofer terms, and the price, oh wow. Now, of course, millionbuy.com has a huge hand in the price I paid for these. I paid $150, if I had bought them locally from Best Buy I would have paid $250. So props to millionbuy.com. But also, I've seen pairs of subs that cost $200-$400 that are bigger and bulkier than these Infinitys, but when applied to the same amp, the References hang right in there in quality! They are extremely shallow compared to the deep styles used by most other subwoofers. The looks are also sleek and stylish, with a simple black & silver design. Overall, I say you can't find more boom for you buck, and if you want your windows to vibrate for the smallest amount of money, these subwoofers are the way to go.
