Ing Direct Savings By js11 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I am always looking to find the best ways to make my money work for me, and the best example of that is compounding interest. Because ING Direct is an online bank they can offer much higher interest rates that other national banks and have to deal with the costs of owning and operating thousands of local branches. While I was incredibly impressed with the customer service and interest rates there is one aspect that I am not completely satisfied with. The transaction time for transferring funds in and out of the bank account is pretty slow. Typically it can take three days to transfer the funds, which can be a pain especially if you are trying to use that money immediately. Overall, I am pleased with ING Direct's performance.
