Reviewing: Watkins Insect Repellent Lotion
Purchased at: Canadian Tire     Price: $7.99 CAD

I am not a big fan of insect repellent, but sometimes we don't have a choice to use one or else we're going to be eaten alive. When it is the case, I always use Watkins insect repellent lotion .

It reppels stable flies, mosquitoes, ticks, black flies etc...I mostly use it on vacation at the beach. My legs often has bites from the fleas that are found in the sand. So I put my sunscreen on (it is very important), then I rub my legs with Watkins insect repellent lotion. It is very effective as I won't get any bites with this lotion on.

One good thing about this lotion is the scent, it has a nice one. It is not too strong. The Watkins insect repellent lotion contains 28.5% DEET. This lotion will protect you from the diseases insects carry, such as Lyme disease and Nile virus, for about 6 hours.

You can find this lotion in 2 sizes. One in a 80 ml tube which is sold for about $ 7,99 and on a 240 ml bottle which is sold about $13,00.

I usually use the bug repellent but I might start using this when I go camping

I visit family in the North East and Mid-West every so often and I always dread going out after sunset because all the bugs start coming out and I always end up with several mosquito bites (and who knows what else)... regardless of how much repellent I spray on. I'm going to give this product a try. Thanks!
