Insignia Computer Speakers By JuneBugCo on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

When I purchased my desktop computer it did not come with any speakers and I already owned a pair that I had previously used with my old, outdated computer so I opted not to buy a pair of speakers. The old speakers bairly provided any sound when I connected them but I thought at least I can hear something.

Eventually I grew tired of barely hearing sounds from my old speakers so when I was browsing in the local Best Buy store I decided to check into computer speakers. I spotted a pair of Insignia speakers for only $19.99 so I thought at that price why am I struggling the listen to sounds from my computer system, afterall streaming video has become a popular aspect of web interaction.

When I connected the Insignia computer speakers to my desktop computer I was instantly pleased that I had made the purchase. Granted, I did not purchase a surround sound system for just under $20.00 however I did purchase adequate computer speakers that allow me to hear without straining.

The Insignia 2.0 powered computer speakers that I purchased include speakers that are magnetically shielded, power on and volume control buttons and a headphone jack. The package also includes a 6 ft. AC adapter which is UL/CUL approved and 4 ft. audio line-in cable. The speakers are compacct in size with a sleek black appearance. I placed my speakers on each side of my computer monitor.
