Insulated Water Bottles By Steven Rupp on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

The problem that I've found when taking water bottles with me when bike riding, or when I use to play tennis, etc., is that they didn't keep my drinks cold very long. Either the ice melted and I had warm water, or the ice melted and I had warm DILUTED Powerade. YUCK!

The 24 oz. insulated Polar bottle solves that problem. It is the standard shape/size, with a layer of insulation and sun-reflective material.

I've found that it keeps my drinks cold for hours. I always add ice to the water, and it lasts as long as I need it. Or - here's a good tip - if you are using Powerade or Gatorade, freeze some into cubes to use instead of ice. It'll keep your drink colder longer and it won't dilute your drink when they melt, because it's the same thing!

These fit into any standard bottle cage on your bike, and can be found at Dick's Sporting Goods, your local bike store, or on Amazon .com
