Intex It 300b Crappy Speaker Goes Boom! By Oliver Villegas on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

First of all, this speaker worked good, for a couple of hours. It's got a headphone jack, 220V /50Hz AC power, 2x2.5 " oval-type full range speakers, with an output power of 300W PMPO. Good and well, but...

...It suddenly heated up and went dead. Frankly I don't know what happened. I used another speaker from another brand, and it worked perfectly well.

This could have been just a fluke, or a 1 in 10000 coincidence that I got a defective product. I didn't opt to buy the same brand though. If your wires start smoking, then you wouldn't be willing to try it anymore for fear of damaging or short circuiting your desktop too, would you?

I don't recommend this particular model, if not the brand itself, despite the fact that it's supposed to be an ISO 9001:2000 company.
