Ipex Racerback By prettyrenexx on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

So I'm visiting a friend who works at Victoria's Secret when I give in and try on one of the coveted Ipex bras. The first one I grabbed was the racerback model, and I have to say, compared to the wireless and demi models the racerback does not impress.

The fit is good, but the front closure is finicky and feels flimsy like it could simply pop off at a moments notice. The clasp often slopes to one side which makes me nervous about the fabric becoming worn and possibly ripping.

Another problem I have is with the back of the bra itself, yes it's a racerback, but it sits too high and often shows even underneath tank tops. I wish I would have been wearing one of my racerback shirt when purchasing the bra so I would have noticed this. Overall, I would recommend the other models, but the racerback just doesn't make the cut.
