If you have an iPod, which most people in the free world seem to own, then there are many available accessories for you to purchase. One of my favorite is offered by a company called iHome and it is a dual alarm clock/docking station for your iPod. This product comes in either black and white, and although it is quite bulky it is a nice piece of equipment. You can program this docking station to wake you up with either music from your iPod, am/fm radio, or the conventional alarm beep.

You can also program this iPod docking station to wake you or lull you to sleep gradually. What I mean is that you can program the alarm to come on softly and gradually get louder. This feature is nice because you can avoid the loud beep that usually "shocks" people awake. Although this product has small speakers the sound is crisp and clear and surprisingly loud.

This iPod docking station/alarm clock is compatible with all iPods and comes with a remote which I found very ncie.
