Though the Apple iPod seems like the perfect mp3 player for most, this is purely a ruse. I purchased the iPod with hopes of a quality audio player, which it was, for about a week. I purchased the iPod, the protection plan and a case, after about a week I started getting folder icons and sad ipod icons. At this point I called customer service who suggested I go to the Genius Bar, so I did. When I go there I am told that because I have the plan I can send it out to get repaired, and if its not repaired they send me a new one. They sent it out I was told it would be 2 weeks max, 8 weeks later I get a package with a letter saying here is your fixed iPod.3 days after I got my "fixed" iPod I started having the same problem. I took it to the Genius Bar again, I am told that this is a common problem and I should "restore" my iPod every week to insure I don't have this problem. Thats just absurd, I should not have to restore my product, which involved putting all of my thousands of songs on again, I would not recommend anyone buy iPods, this experience disappointed me very much.
