Ipod Shuffle

The ipod shuffle is a great product when it works.I purchased a shuffle and right out of the box it didn't work.I was able to exchange it for a new one, which did work.For the next six weeks, we used the shuffle when running with the lanyard attachment to hang around the neck.It then started not working.I returned it to the Apple store and although they replaced it, I was told that the unit was not meant to be worn around the neck while exercising and instead I should have purchased the armband accessory because sweat was causing it to short out.After this, I was out of luck because they would not replace it again.I purchased the armband and the unit worked for approximately 10 months and then began working sporadically until it finally stopped working altogether.Although Apple seems to think that this is a disposable product, I think that at that price it should last longer than a year.Overall, I think it's a great product when it works; it should just work more and for longer than it does.
