The iPod Shuffle 2nd version is even smaller than before. As far as I know it is currently the smallest commercially available mp3 player, and it works like a champion.

The Shuffle's battery life is around 12 hours and it can be charged in very little time. The capacity is only 1 gig but when it is used for what it was designed for, which is extremely portable music, it allows for plenty of space. I use the player on bicycle rides and sometimes I hardly even know that its there; the Shuffle weighs almost nothing at all and the simple button interface is easy to operate while being active.

The Shuffle isn't for everyone; there are some people that feel the need to have large amounts of music with them at all times and this mp3 player will not satisfy their needs. The iPod Shuffle is for people that are looking for a very small player that is very inexpensive.
