Having to get into the digital age of music, I was forced to get an mp3 player. I had lots of cds, and lots of music. So whatever choice I picked, I needed a lot of space. At that time, the only one available with that space was the ipod. I went with the 80 gig current gen, 5.5. I was so surprised by this piece of machinery. It's ease of use is very high. Transferring songs is a breeze. Plus deleting and reorganizing is easy too. I have my car stereo set up to just hook in the 1/8 jack, so its easy to put albums on there, and take off and listen. The battery life is awesome on it too, seeing as I don't have to charge it maybe once every 2 weeks. Only froze once or twice, when i was syncing it, and I've had it a while. I highly recommend this player.
