Ipod Video 80GB

I've always wanted to have an IPOD (any kind of it), so I asked my dad to buy me last christmas but he said NO. Then last march when my aunt had her vacation here in the philippines she suprised me with the IPOD Video 80GB (5th generation ipod ) that my dad bought for me plus a Soundstick II speaker. I super love it and immediately used it but after 3 weeks of enjoying my new IPOD. It got busted :( and I just don't know why, it keeps on restarting and restarting.. It says that the battery is very low bat but I have recharge it for 2 hours and it's still the same then I ask a friend of mine who has an Ipod and eventually his IPOD got busted too just like mine said that the problem with the Apple's products are very sensitive. So right now I have no IPOD and it sucks because it says that the warranty is valid for 1 year but when I checked the serial number on the Apple website it says that the warranty is not supported :(.
